The Big Brolly Gala
Cadillac Fairview is pleased to announce that it held its first annual “Big Brolly Gala” on October 24, 2007 at the beautiful HSBC Building atrium to raise funds and awareness for thousands of people living on the streets and/or suffering with a mental illness. Funds were raised through ticket sales, raffle, silent and live auctions, and through sponsorships. We are happy to announce that we raised $50,000 for our partner organizations: The Kettle Friendship Society, Lookout Emergency Aid Society, and Coast Mental Health. We are grateful for each and every contribution. Thank you!
Look for us to make another big splash when our Big Brolly Gala returns for a second year on October 22, 2008. More details to follow!
Corporate Social Responsibility
As one of the largest investors, owners, and managers of commercial real estate in downtown Vancouver, Cadillac Fairview is frequently called upon for sponsorship and donations. To ensure that our giving is targeted to issues that affect the community where we do business, a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy and committee have been developed. The CSR strategy focusses giving on homelessness, mental health, and community safety.
